OVERVIEW OF CERTIFICATION:
ENDORSEMENT LEVELS 1-4

Certification consists of four levels.  A daily schedule of an endorsement level will consist of sessions on topics in Rolland pedagogy from his publication The Teaching of Action in String Playing, as well as the specific application of his actions to private studio teaching, group and orchestral instruction, and all levels of performance.  After each level is completed, an Endorsement is received for that level.  One full in-person Paul Rolland String Pedagogy workshop must be attended during the Certification process.  At least a three-month interval between levels needs to occur in order for the candidate to apply the pedagogy to their teaching and playing.  Each level of the Certification process must be completed in order and within the span of 9 years.  Upon completion of the fourth level, full Certification is received from the Paul Rolland String Pedagogy Society.
